ADULT MINISTRIES

Women on Mission - Baptist Men - Disaster Relief - Senior Adults (Silver Threads)  - Ladies Ministry

Women on Mission

At it's heart, Women on Mission is an organization for women through which women pray for and give to missions, do missions, learn about missions, grow spiritually toward a missions lifestyle, and participate in the work of the church.  The purpose of all Women on Mission activities is for every person to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

The Women on Mission meet at 6:30 pm on the second Monday of every month to learn more about missions and discuss upcoming mission projects.  This is a great way to connect with like-minded women and show the love of Christ in our community and around the world.

For questions or information on how to join, email us or call (910) 675-2127.

Ladies Ministry

Our Ladies Ministry meets monthly and contributes to the spiritual growth of the ladies of RCBC by providing a free meal, fun, fellowship, and friends, as well as opportunities for learning, serving, sharing, and belonging. Childcare is also provided.

Baptist Men

Riley's Creek's Baptist Men is a group of men that enjoy sharing God's love with hurting people through word and deed. We are made up of men from all walks of life who desire to use our time and skills to minister to others. While the level of skills may vary from man to man, all we ask is that our volunteers are willing to do whatever needs to be done.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

The Baptist Men meet once a month to fellowship with one another and plan our next work projects. These meetings usually include dinner. For questions or information about Baptist Men, please email Pat Mazzarone or call 910.675.2127.

WORK PROJECTS

We work in the homes of those in our community. The kind of work we do includes, but is not limited to, building handicap ramps, removing trees, making repairs to roofs and homes, and cleaning up yards. Our main goal is to share the love of Jesus Christ while doing these projects.

DISASTER RELIEF

Many of our men and women participate in the Disaster Relief program through the Baptist State Convention of N.C. They attend training that prepares them to respond to emergency situations both in the United States and worldwide. At a moment's notice, they are ready to pack up to go minister to the physical and spiritual needs of hurting people. Senior Adults (Silver Threads)

Our Senior Adult Group is aptly named "Silver Threads."

We get this idea from Proverbs 16:31, which says, "The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness."

Silver Threads is a social ministry that welcomes all adults age 50 and over. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month to enjoy a meal together. Sometimes we meet at the church and sometimes we gather at members' homes. In addition, occasional trips together are special times that create new, fun memories in the lives of our seniors.

For more information, contact the church office (910) 675-2127 or through email.
